大晦日

大晦日と言えど、みっちり、めとさま織りました。どうにかこうにか、今年の目標を織り切りました。少々遅れ気味だったのですが、やっと追いついきました。よかった。
デザイン、染めと織りと、どれも大変だけど、やっぱ体を使うのは織りだ。
頭も体もいっぱいいっぱいで、何も考えられなくなった時、頭によぎるのが、めとさまとの対話だ。
普段着であり、年代長く、季節も長く着られること。自分を表す着物であること。紅葉、紅。匂い立つ、色。透明。風。
めとさまの来し方行く末。幸多かれ。
そんなことを思いながらの、2013の大晦日でした。
織り終えて、それから掃除。この一年のお浄めだ。機や糸や道具に感謝です。いろいろ反省しきり。
Today is “oomisoka” the last day of this year. All over japan, people say thanks being well to family and friends and others. And Japan close all operation.
Different from regular japan, I worked as usual from morning to evening as usual.
At the last minute, I cleaned the weaving machines and tools with special gratitude.
“Good Job!” this year, welcome coming year 2014.
